Introduction

In today's technological era, knowledge is essential to living up to the expectation of modern health care. Our nursing college provides a learning atmosphere for the students so that they can acquaint themselves with advanced applications and skills. A.V aids are multisensory materials that motivate and stimulate the individual. It makes the dynamic learning experience more concrete realistic and clarity. It provides significant gains in thinking and reasoning. Audiovisual aids are sensitive tools used in teaching and as avenues for learning. so we have an A.V aids lab which is situated in a well-ventilated area and equipped with different types of advanced A.V aids like LCD projector, computer, OHP, Bluetooth sound system, charts, models, posters, & different types of boards which can provide high-tech educational media to support the teachinglearning activities of the students.

AIM

• 1. To sustain the interest of the audience towards the subjects
• 2. To visually reinforce the points made verbally to the presentation.
• 3. To summarize the points in which you give an oral presentation.
• 4. To visually clarify the important concepts and analogs.
• 5. To give support to keep you on track for the presentation.
• 6. To make the receiver for retaining the message.
• 7. To emphasize and give the presentation concisely and simple manner.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED IN AUDIO VISUAL AIDS LAB

• 1. Students explore their creative ideas through the preparation of models and chart papers under the guidance of their respective teachers.
• 2. Teachers provide good exposure to some advanced aids like-OHP, projector, models, etc.to the students.
• 3. Students learn how to use A.V aids properly during the time of their presentation.
