In Pre Clinical Lab We have a pre-clinical lab with all the equipment such as adult human articulated skeleton, adult
skull, pelvic, heart with large blood vessels, a full set of the disarticulated adult human skeleton,
specimen and different charts of all the system. The lab is well furnished in such a way that the
students can acquire the knowledge through the different demonstrations and also we have
microscopes so that students will able to see the culture of micro-organisms. To learn, students
will need to develop strategies for remembering and understanding a large amount of
information. The laboratory is a very good place to practice.
In our pre-clinical lab, we are offering instant focusable light, LED lighting offers a costeffective
and long-life lighting solution to a lab environment. From under bench storage, trays,
wall storage cupboard, and cabinets, there is a wealth of options to choose from.
The preclinical lab allows students to interact directly with the data gathering. Students get a
first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. It also found that
lab equipment and supplies make teaching and learning easy for both teachers as well as
students.
Objectives
- 1.Preclinical laboratories are designed to help students to visualise what we discuss in
lecture and identify structure using correct anatomical terminology.
- 2. Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively together
with peers in the lab and review settings to successfully address problems of anatomical
significance.
- 3. Contribute to the education of peers by actively engaging in laboratory and review
sessions.
- 4. Develop tissue-handling/dissecting skills.
Activities
- 1.Demonstration for improving skills of the students
- 2. Developing practical skills
- 3. To train students in carrying out the procedures
- 4. To give students the experience of working in a team.
- 5. To help students to understand the underlying principles/theories behind the experimental techniques
